SAI Power Systems
SAI Power Systems is a privately owned company, founded in 1989. The office and panel shop is located near Tomball, TX which is situated 40 minutes north-west of Houston by US290 and TX-249. SAI develops custom power control and distribution solutions including switchgear, gen-set control panels and XP starters and breaker panels.
SAI Power Systems is the parent company of SAI Drive Solutions. SAI Drive Solutions was formed to specialized in the development of VFD solutions and products.
Engineering Experience
For 30 years, SAI has been designing and building custom power distribution and control solutions for low voltage and medium voltage switchgear and load control panels. Our solutions range from standalone power generation to island power. From a single gen-set to paralleling gen-sets to hybrid power load sharing generators and renewables including wind & photovoltaic.

UL 508A Panel Shop
All products are designed and built to UL standards. Where required for customers application, SAI can list the equipment to UL per applicable standard i.e. 508A, UL1203 & UL1558.
Our UL certification files include;
- UL 508A - Industrial Control Panels
- UL 1558 - Switchgear assemblies
- UL 1203 - Control Panels & Assemblies for use in Class I Division 1 and Class I Division 2 hazLoc environments
All components used are premium quality and are either UL listed or UL recognized.
