Instead of using expensive or obsolete parts - which don’t provide any value or new functionality,  a quick and easy solution is to upgrade a failing genset with a new ComAp Retrofit Control Panel.

ComAp's retrofit panels extend the life of existing assets as well as deliver increased value through digital touch-displays, modern security protocols, IoT features including email alerts, online management and monitoring (4G wireless required).

Installation is near to plug-n-play, with pre-packaged panels fiting existing enclosure spaces, wiring connectors and harnesses designed for direct-replacement and controllers pre-programmed with settings for the given engine, ECU and sensors.

Retrofit Panel Selection

ComAp has currently have two lines of retrofit panels with more coming.

The 'RT3' panels are engine agnostic, designed to be compatible with any engine supporting Tier 4 final ECU/ECM.

The 'RC3' panels are custom engineered as a drop-in replacement for Cummins / ONAN Detector Series gen-sets. The panels are built with exact match sheet metal and mounting to bolt right into place. The cabling is wired to match the OEM wiring numbers with point to point interconnect.
